I have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and have been teaching for 26 years. I am a founding staff member of Scallywaggs and have spent the past 22 years working within Scallywaggs Education & Care services. During this time I became an educator enabling me to spend time at home with my own children, returning to Scallywaggs as the General Manager and also the Regional Manager for Sprouts In-Home Childcare.

I have an amazing supportive team of teachers and educators who take real pride in their work providing a safe and educational home environment for children in their care.

Vickie Culshaw

Hi my name is Vickie and I have worked in the Early Childhood sector for over 16 years with Group Special Education and later qualified with a Bachelor of Teaching. I have two daughters and two grandchildren.

I have a deep understanding of how children learn and the importance of working in partnership with whānau.  I am a committed, reflective, inclusive, professional teacher who demonstrates a high standard of teaching practice, ethical principles and a positive approach with all children that I am fortunate to teach.  I  facilitate professional development for our teaching team and other ECE services in Hawke's Bay and am also the Operations Manager. Office Manager

Lynne Smales

Hi, my name is Lynne Smales and I’m one of the first faces you see when you arrive at Scallywaggs Kindergarten & Care Administration Office.  My position is Office Manager; however I’m happy to do what needs doing, from administration through to childcare.

I seem to have been at Scallywaggs Kindergarten & Care forever and love my job as I get to hang out with children who just love to learn.

Sarah Smith

Hi, I'm Sarah and as a parent of two girls, I have had a long association with Scallywaggs.  Before becoming Office Administrator I worked in Scallywaggs Kids Club.  My job gives me the flexibility to continue to work with children.  I can help with your administration queries by phone 06 858 7404, email office@scallywaggs.co.nz  or person to person in the office.
