LITTLE STARS: From left, Rebecca Wilson, Reuben Carter, Veronica Mills, Logan Salter and Jiva Rose Niegos perform at Scallywaggs' Christmas party.

Scallywaggs children and teachers held a concert on Tuesday, December 13 to celebrate the end of another successful year. Children performed items that showcased the culmination of their Centre's learning. One highlight of the concert included a solo performance of Pokarekare Ana by four-year-old Veronica Mills. Staff also performed a musical number, which amused the audience and delighted the children. Deirdre Harris (the Graduation Kindergarten Head Teacher) and Susan Rowlands (Junior Kindergarten Teacher) opened and closed the concert with a karakia. Morning tea was hosted by each of the centres and included a special jolly guest wearing a red suit who arrived by motor cycle bearing gifts.

Scallywaggs Education and Care Services would like to thank teachers, children, friends and whānau for the wonderful year and wish everybody a safe and happy holiday season.
